(NASDAQ: SMCI), maker of comprehensive IT solutions for AI, cloud, storage and 5G/Edge, announces that its air and liquid cooling rack solutions based on the workload-optimized X13 server family are now the new 5th generation support generation Intel Xeon processors (formerly known as Emerald Rapids). The new product line includes GPU servers for generative AI, E3.S petascale servers optimized for throughput and latency, low-cost, high-density Enterprise and Simply Double servers for large object storage, and a new 4-node SuperEdge -System with improved storage capacity.
At Supermicro, we leverage the building blocks of workload-optimized servers to create fully integrated rack-scale solutions for our customers. This allows us to shorten delivery times, support up to 100 kW per rack and achieve a global production capacity of 4,000 racks per month, said Charles Liang, president and CEO of Supermicro. By combining these products with Supermicro’s rack liquid cooling solutions, which can reduce data center power costs by up to 51%, we provide a complete, integrated solution. We have already started shipping the first units to customers around the world.
