A handsome residence reminiscent of several Japanese-inspired architectural elements has just found a buyer in Mont-St-Hilaire for $1,225,000.

Built in 2010, the one-story residence at 375 Rue Fortier is 200 square meters. It includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, numerous skylights, two garages converted into workshops and six parking spaces for cars.
The property, surrounded by old trees and hedges, has an area of 700 m2. In addition to an in-ground swimming pool and several relaxation areas, the backyard features a shower and an outdoor kitchen.

Its owners, an entrepreneurial couple consisting of Chantale Dumoulin and Stéphane Lemieux, purchased this property from Marc Lessard in March 2020 for $785,000. Three years later, their house sold for $1,225,000, exactly the asking price.
At the last valuation, this property was assigned a value of $699,400, which is 21.19% more than the previous valuation of $577,100. In 2023, municipal taxes were $5,132.
For buyers, a transfer tax of $27,593 will be added to the purchase price, payable in Mont-Saint-Hilaire.
