Samsung continues to roll out Android 14 for new smartphone models. This week the Samsung Galaxy A54 was able to receive the latest version of Google’s operating system after several months of beta and it seems that Samsung is now attacking its oldest flagships.

The entire Samsung Galaxy S21 series visibly receives Android 14 via the manufacturer’s One UI 6 software overlay.

Just like the brand’s other smartphones, the Galaxy S21 and its Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra versions also went through a beta period lasting several months to support this stable version of Android 14.

The update is currently available for Swiss users and, as usual, should arrive in the rest of Europe in the coming days. If you’re like me, don’t hesitate to check every 10 minutes using the System Update menu on your smartphone. Or just once a day, it depends…

Note that this weighs 2.28GB. So of course we recommend you download it over your WiFi network if you don’t want to use up too much of your data plan.

One UI 6: a smooth update

With the new version of its One UI software interface, Samsung offers some slight improvements without significantly changing the system.

In addition to new emojis, a new, more readable font, you will find a new quick settings panel, a new appearance of notifications as well as the lock screen or even a new interface for the photos application.
