Yokohama launches the new 907W “Extreme Traction” traction tire for winter conditions.
It replaces SY7667 and bears the three-pointed mountain snowflake symbol, indicating that it meets or exceeds the performance criteria for heavy snow conditions. It is offered in sizes 295/75R22.5, 11R22.5 and 11R24.5.
“The new 907W offers significantly longer tread life and better performance on snow,” assures Tom Clauer, senior director of commercial product planning at Yokohama. “With a deeper tread and a robust new rubber compound, fleets can expect reliable traction and powerful braking in snow for several winters.”
Features include: 27/32-inch tread depth for longer-lasting performance and a new compound that resists rubbing, cutting and chipping; Ribs for improved snow traction with 3D sipes that ensure firm contact with the ground in snow and ice and a zigzag groove pattern for efficient water drainage.
The retreaded casing comes with an unlimited seven-year warranty.
