Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+: Samsung launches its new entry-level tablets – Les Numériques

Ahead of the highly anticipated unveiling of its Galaxy S24, Samsung is making a splash in the tablet space by announcing the release of new entry-level Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+ models, with the aim of “offering advanced technologies”. a wide audience. Weighing 332g with an 8.7-inch screen on the Galaxy Tab A9 and 480g with an 11-inch panel on the A9+ version, the Korean giant’s new tablets promise a feeling of lightness and good grip. While the Galaxy Tab A9 offers a refresh rate of 60 Hz for its screen, the premium version can go up to 90 Hz and benefits from Dolby Atmos compatibility with four speakers as well as 5G connectivity.

In terms of performance, these two tablets promise a significant improvement over the already very correct Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. With up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, Samsung emphasizes multitasking via the DeX functionality, which, among other things, enables the screen to be divided into three. The Galaxy Tab A9 has a 5100mAh battery combined with 15W charging power. The device is equipped with an 8MP sensor on the back and a 2MP selfie lens.

The A9+ version is powered by a 7040mAh battery and while the main photo sensor remains the same, it benefits from a better 5MP selfie lens.

Coming soon to France

They are already available on the manufacturer’s Moroccan website in three different colors (Graphite, Mystic Navy, Mystic Silver) and will soon be available in France, Samsung has announced. The Galaxy Tab A9 currently costs from 1,990 DH, or around 180 euros. The Galaxy Tab A9+, on the other hand, is sold for 3,490 DH, or around 315 euros.
